Our First #ChicagoBabyShow

SOS. Send help, right now. Ya’ll, I’m about to be a mom in 4 months and I’m so lost.

A few weeks ago Steve and I went to our first baby show here in Chicago at Navy Pier. Baby. Products. EVERYWHERE. I didn’t know where to start or what I was looking form, so in true rookie form I made it my goal to walk down reach row and stop by every single solitary booth for information.

The best thing about having my first child at 33-years-old, is my refusal to entertain products that will stress me out. And because I’m a millennial I want products that are practical, but cute and chic.

Check out 3 products we must absolutely HAVE to have for our princess.

  1. Crane Animated Humidifier. If my daughter is anything like her father her throat will consistently be dry. Or is that all babies? Ya’ll know I don’t know, lol. Anyway, how cute are these animated humidifiers. I had my eye on the bumble bee which goes perfect with the theme of her room: The Secret Garden.
  2. Petunia Pickle Diaper Bag. My sister gave birth in April and schooled me on the importance of having a Pickle Bottom bag. I had a chance to check them out at the show and fell in love. They’re SUPER organized and chic. The Mickey  and Minnie pattern stole my heart.
  3. Bloom Baby High Chairs. As soon as we turned the corner and saw this metallic goodness of these high chairs, my jaw literally dropped. This isn’t your average frumpy, 1940’s high chair. Nope. These titanium chairs are the highest baby chairs- ever. They hold 0-80 pounds, which means the chair literally grows with your child.

Of course I was crushing on more products but in my best Diana Ross voice “These are a few of my favorite things”. A huge thanks to everyone who was patient to explain all of the products and services to me.

I’m looking forward to learning more at next years show. I’ll have a special guest with me who will call me “momma”.

Love Always,
