Hey guys! If you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, you already know last week I was a hair model for EDEN BodyWorks “Style With EDEN” event here in Chicago. EDEN recently released their new Coconut Shea line and wanted to use Rachel O. and I as hair models to display the diversity of their product. One word describes my experience: EPIC.
My hair was styled by the talented Alecia Perkins a.k.a. Afros N Baby Hair. Alecia was amazed at how EDEN’s leave-in-conditioner left my hair shiny, yet weightless, which is perfect for a blowout. She silked my hair with EDEN’s Jojoba Monoi Oil, which left my hair bouncy and full of body. You guys should have seen me shaking my tresses like I was Tina Turner. Couldn’t tell me nothing. *flips hair*
Like my outfit? Isn’t it fab?!? I was styled by Autumn Merritt, owner of clothing store Sir & Madame. I love her style. Everything inside of me wanted to “forget” to return the clothes. Thankfully my mama raised me better than that. However, I do plan on doing a little shopping at Sir & Madame soon. Also, Aramide Esubi a.k.a. The Sassy Peach, was on the panel discussing fashion trends and how to dress for your body type.
My face was beat to capacity my celebrity makeup artist Tia Dantzler. Tia and I go back, but I’ve never had my makeup done by her before. She definitely hooked me up. Now, if only I can remember everything she did, then I’d look like a celebrity everyday 🙂
